We'll visit Barcelona's legendary pastry shops and sample the favorite pastries and sweets of locals and visitors alike. We'll be treated to:
magical croissants from the Escriba bakery;
melt-in-your-mouth meringues from "";
traditional Catalan churros with chocolate;
Crema Catalana on the sweetest street in town;
strawberry pie in the monastery shop;
Pear cake at the sophisticated pastry shop "Bubo".
You will learn the history of the emergence of these confectioneries and the legends associated with them.
